NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, at a Regular meeting to be held on Monday, the 25th day of October, 2021 at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida, intends to consider for adoption the following proposed Ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO. ____
AN ORDINANCE BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 10½ FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT, TO PROVIDE CRITERIA FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES AND AGRICULTURAL STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS; TO SPECIFY ELEVATION OF MANUFACTURED HOMES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS; PROVIDING FOR APPLICABILITY AND SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the Ordinance are available at the Clerk's Office at the Robert M. Foster Justice Center, located at 76347 Veterans Way, Yulee, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays.
THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO BE PRESENT AND BE HEARD. IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE BOARD, AGENCY OR COMMISSION WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH MEETING OR HEARING, HE OR SHE WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS, AND THAT, FOR SUCH PURPOSE, HE OR SHE MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
The Board of County Commissioners may continue hearings on this matter.
