The Library Advisory Board acts as the liaison between the communities of Nassau County, the public libraries of Nassau County, and the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County. They also gather information for suggested improvements and additions to the library system of Nassau County and determine the status of challenged materials.
The Board is made up of seven (7) members as follows:
- Two (2) representatives from Amelia Island
- One (1) representative from the Hilliard area
- One (1) representative from the Callahan area
- Two (2) representatives from the Yulee area
- One (1) representative from the Bryceville area
The Library Advisory Board meets quarterly and members do not receive any compensation for their time and/or travel expenses. Members are not required to file financial disclosure.
If you are interested in serving on this Board, please e-mail your resume srobertson@nassaucountyfl.com. Resumes will be kept on file for two years from the date received. If a vacancy should occur, your resume will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration.
