May 10, 2021: County Manager issues Executive Order No. 27 rescinding all active Executive Orders relating to any local COVID-19 restrictions and/or mandates.

May 3, 2021: Governor issues Executive Order No. 21-102 suspending all remaining local government mandates and restrictions based on the COVID-19 State of Emergency.

May 3, 2021: Governor issues Executive Order No. 21-101 invalidating all remaining local emergency orders that impose restrictions based on the COVID-19 emergency which were enacted prior to July 1, 2021.

February 26, 2021: Governor issued Executive Order No. 21-46, extending Executive Order No. 20-315. Also states that physicians licensed under Chapters 458 and 459, Florida Statutes, to vaccinate persons who are extremely vulnerable to COVID-19, and advanced practice registered nurses licensed under Chapter 464, Florida Statutes, and pharmacists licensed under Chapter 465, Florida Statutes, may vaccinate persons determined by a physician to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19. (this is in addition to hospital providers previously approved by Executive Order 20-315)

March 16, 2020: The City of Fernandina Beach cancels all City Board meetings through March 31st.

March 16, 2020: The School District announces Student Meal Plan for the week of March 23-March 27. Breakfast and lunch will be provided  for students the week of March 23-March 27 from 10am-1pm.

March 13, 2020: Nassau County School District cancels school through March 27th. This includes Spring Break which was scheduled the week of March 16-March 20 and the following week of March 23-27.
