NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida
has received citizens' requests to consider changes to the Animal Control Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2004-
58, as amended). The requested changes would prohibit unattended tethering and transportation of
unsecured animals in the bed of pick-up trucks. The Board designated a Fact Finding Committee to conduct
meetings and receive public comment. The Fact Finding Committee will conduct a meeting on Thursday,
January 18, 2018 at 6:00PM at the Multi-Use Facility, 543350 U.S. Highway I, Callahan, Florida. The
